April 19: Sylvain Charlebois comments on cuts to federal food inspection jobs in today's Guelph Mercury

According to today's Guelph Mercury, the Guelph offices of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency will receive 30 to 35 job losses as the federal government enacts measures to eliminate its deficit. The union representing the employees revealed this week that veterinarians, biologists and agricultural scientists will be impacted. Acting CME Dean Sylvain Charlebois comments on this issue
