Prof. Ken Smith, Associate Dean of Executive Programs, had an opinion/editorial published in Sunday's Toronto Star on the globalization of the food industry.
In the article, Smith says that the food industry may be the only major industry remaining in which Canadian companies can emerge as leaders in global restructuring. Canada’s food industry — from fertilizer to fork — need to decide if they will be buyers or sellers, he says. Smith joined U of G after some 25 years of strategy consulting.
