April 5: Winner of the Course Evaluation Campaign Announced

Posted on Tuesday, April 5th, 2011

The College of Management and Economics, with significant help from the College of Management and Economics Student Association (CMESA), recently completed a successful campaign to raise awareness about the importance of course evaluations and provide students with an opportunity to complete them. Approximately 200 students participated in the campaign and had their names entered in to a draw for an iPad 2.   The lucky winner was BComm (Accounting) student Monica Bassilious.

Course evaluations provide valuable input to faculty members about the quality of their courses and teaching. Over the last few years, response rates for online course evaluations have been poor.  CME is working to improve this by encouraging students to express their views on the courses they take.

If you have not yet completed your course evaluations, there is still time. Online evaluations can be completed until April 8 on the Online Course Evaluation System website.
