CBaSE transforms students into business consultants in MGMT*4050

Posted on Tuesday, August 30th, 2016

The Centre for Business and Student Enterprise (CBaSE) has lined up an exciting group of clients for the Fall 2016 offering of MGMT*4050, during which senior undergraduate students from across the University of Guelph will gain valuable skills by transforming into business consultants. The clients represent a range of industries including real estate, the arts and community services. Students will focus on a specific project requested by the client, such as a marketing plan, strategic plan or annual report.

“CBaSE’s business consulting course is a valuable opportunity for students to realize their capacity and apply their learning before they graduate,” said Melanie Lang, CBaSE director. “These are projects they will be contributing to after they finish their degrees so it’s a great way to get a head start and add transferable skills to their resume.”

To qualify for MGMT*4050, students must have completed a minimum of 10 credits and have a GPA of 70% or higher. To apply, visit the CBaSE website today.
