Dec. 2: 2015 Food Price Report released, small increases in price expected

""Food price increases of 0.3 to 2.4 per cent are expected in the coming year, but meatlovers will have to deal with higher price jumps. Increases of three to five per cent are expected for meat, fish, seafood and vegetables. Details on these predictions and more are available in the 2015 Food Price Report released today by the Food Institute at the University of Guelph. The Report was authored by College of Business and Economics professors Sylvain Charlebois, Michael von Massow, Francis Tapon and Erna van Duren, in addition to Food Institute senior director Paul Uys, and graduate students Warren Pinto and Amit Summan.
