December 8: CME Proud to Support the 2011 Notable Awards

Posted on Thursday, December 8th, 2011

Organized by CME alumni Julian Brass, 2006 graduate of hotel and food administration, the inaugural Notable Awards were held in Toronto and celebrated Canada's top young professionals. CME was proud to sponsor the Architecture and Real Estate Award. The recipient of this category sees beyond the traditional and knows that the industries of architecture and real estate have a greater purpose in the way that they impact their city.

Julian Brass founder of Notable.ca

A driven entrepreneur, Julian Brass founded Notable.ca, Canada’s first digital publication that provides relevant and engaging content for young, ambitious and trendy professionals. Notable.ca works with national and local brands and advertising agencies to help reach more than 75,000 members across Canada. “Through the supportive staff at the University I was able to gain the confidence I needed to take chances and act on my ideas,” states Julian. His goal for the next few years is to continue to grow Notable.ca and live a well-balanced life. “My drive comes from knowing my work positively impacts young professionals inside and outside their working lives.” His ability to positively impact others extends beyond his career with Notable.ca. Julian uses his business to offer support to local charities and donates his free time to the National Advertising Benevolent Society.
