Jan 22: CME students, alumnus making headlines

A CME alumnus and soon-to-be graduate have been named by Gen Y Inc. as two of 11 U of G students who are changing Canada. Gavin Armstrong (BComm, 2011) and Thomas Beckett are both recognized for their community-based and international humanitarian contributions.

MCS master's student Warren Pinto's research on how provinces and territories market themselves is profiled in this article from at Guelph. According to Pinto, one of the most enjoyable aspects of studying with CME is the opportunity for collaboration. He has been able to work within the Department of Marketing and Consumer Studies as well as the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
