July 11: Prof. Jamie Gruman co-authors study on employee engagement

A new study co-authored by Department of Management professor Jamie Gruman suggests that managers and human resources professionals should adopt a better understanding of employee engagement if they want to ensure staff are fulfilled and satisfied in their work. Gruman, who conducted the literature review with Professor Alan Saks at the University of Toronto, says that drivers and levels of engagement differ for employees, "but they all involve bringing the full self into the role."
