May 19: Former war crimes prosecutor Louise Arbour receives the Lincoln Alexander Outstanding Leadership Award

The College of Management and Economics at the University of Guelph bestowed globally acclaimed former war crimes prosecutor Louise Arbour with its Lincoln Alexander Outstanding Leader Award, named for the highly respected former chancellor. Arbour is perhaps best known as chief prosecutor in the mid-1990s for the Hague’s International Criminal Tribunals, pursuing war criminals in the Balkans civil war that tore apart the former Yugoslavia and the Rwandan genocide.
