November 2: CME Associate Dean in the News

An opinion piece by Prof. Sylvain Charlebois, associate dean of research and graduate studies in the College of Management and Economics, is featured today in the Globe and Mail.

Charlebois, associate dean, research and graduate studies, in the College of Management and Economics, is an award-winning researcher and teacher, and an expert on global food systems. He studies food distribution and safety and has published two books and numerous articles. He is currently writing a third book on global food safety systems.

This summer he was named to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s National Expert Advisory Committee. The group will provide the CFIA with objective professional and technical advice on key issues related to food, animal health and plants.
