Build Your Own Business (BUS*4550 Applied Project in Entrepreneurship .5 credit)

Do you have a business idea that you are interested in operating over the summer? If so, we can help. In this applied project course, you will participate in a series of modules leading to the development of a business plan. Throughout the Winter, you will have access to advisors and resources of the Guelph Wellington Business Enterprise Centre and an advisor from the Department of Business. You can then launch your business in the summer and may be eligible for up to $3,000 in grants to help you start your business. You can read about one of the students who participated last year at: http://atguelph.uoguelph.ca/2014/09/student-squeezes-money-from-apples/

To learn more contact Fred Pries (fpries@uoguelph.ca) Note: You don't have to be in fourth year to participate. In fact, it is generally better if you are not in fourth year yet.
