Warren Jestin, noted economist, U of G alumnus and inaugural economist-in-residence in the Department of Economics and Finance, will receive an honorary doctorate at winter convocation on February 20. Jestin, who is an economist with Scotiabank, graduated in 1971 with an MA in economics. He will receive his honorary doctorate at the 4 p.m. ceremony.
