Research that Impacts Rural Workers and Employers

Sara Mann

Department of Business, Prof. Sara Mann, sees her research as an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of rural workers. With the assistance of a $79,000 grant from OMAFRA, Mann’s study seeks to understand the kinds of issues employees and employers face in rural areas.

Mann, who has lived on a beef farm in the Flamborough area for the past 11 years, didn’t plan on doing this kind of research when she arrived at University of Guelph.
