Creative Women Art Exhibition
Art Exhibition / Exposition d'art (le français suit)
Part of our conference will include an art exhibition that will hang from October 5-31st, at the Silence venue in Guelph (link below). Masters of Fine Arts students from the University of Guelph have been invited to exhibit their work touching on the topics of gender, gender norms and wartime culture.
Opening night for the exhibit will be Friday, October 5th. At the opening, there will be a chamber music concert of works by Lili Boulanger and other women composers, followed by a reception for the performers, artists and conference participants.
This event is pay-what-you-can. Suggested donation: $10.00. Proceeds to "Silence".

Exposition d'art
Notre colloque comprendra une exposition d'art qui durera de 5 octobre au 31 octobre. L'exposition aura lieu à 'Silence', à Guelph (lien ci-dessous). Les étudiants de maîtrise dans le programme des beaux-arts à l'Université de Guelph ont été invités à présenter leurs œuvres qui touchent aux thèmes abordés au colloque, soit le genre, les normes du genre et la culture lors du temps de guerre.
Le vernissage pour l'exposition sera le vendredi 5 octobre. Au vernissage, il y aura un concert de musique de chambre comprenant des œuvres de Lili Boulanger et d'autres compositrices, suivi d'une réception pour les conférenciers, les musiciens et les artistes.
Participation libre pour cet évènement. Don suggéré : $10,00 aux profits de "Silence".
