Cathleen Finlay

Cathleen Finlay is a College of Arts graduate from both the Bachelor and Master’s degree programs in English and History. To further her skills and education in writing, she completed an Accelerated Advanced Diploma at Humber College in Journalism and later an Intensive French program from Université Lavale. While in Toronto, Cathleen explored several roles in the communications field, maximizing her background in History, English and Journalism. Cathleen has taken roles such as a News Writer for CTV News, a Consultant at Hill + Knowlton Strategies (a Public Relations and Communications firm), a Communications Manager and now the Senior Manager of Communications and Brand at TIFF. In November 2019, Cathleen recently returned to the University of Guelph to share her career journey at the Careers for Historians event, hosted by History Professor Cathy Wilson.
