Info for first-year student

First Year course selection

There are typically 1 – 3 courses related to your program. If you have more than one required course, try and spread them out between the Fall and Winter semesters. Remember to check when they are offered.

Your other courses will be electives or courses that count towards your BA requirements.  Focus on the 1000 level course, 1000 means first year.

When you are searching for courses on webadvisor remember to enter Guelph for Location and Undergraduate for academic level. The less filters you put into webadvisor the more options.

Remember the course is only available if there a drop down for sections being offered.
