University of Guelph's New Exchange Partner - University of Manchester

CIP is happy to announce our newest exchange partnership with University of Manchester, in Manchester, UK

University of Manchester is part of the prestigious Russell Group of universities, with outstanding facilities and the widest range of courses. Manchester is highly respected across the globe as a centre of teaching excellence. Manchester is the birthplace of nuclear physics, where Ernest Rutherford first split the atom. It is marked with 25 Nobel Prize winners having worked or studied there.

It's a home for International Students, be the first Guelph student to go on University of Manchester exchange.

Courses are offered in a wide range of subjects, including Accounting, Economics, European Studies, French Studies, Geography, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Music, Neuroscience, Wildlife Biology and Conservation, and Zoology. Courses specifically for international/exchange students can be found here. You can also take advantage of a number of short-term programs in Manchester.

Why go on Exchange?

  • As a UG student on exchange, you would pay UG tuition and fees, not international student tuition and fees.
  • You can take courses that count towards your degree while studying in another country.
  • You receive support before, during and after your exchange from the CIP office at UG and the international office at your host university.
  • You will build your intercultural skills and resume, learn about yourself and the world, make new friends, and develop a global perspective.
