Natural Resource Solutions Inc. established The Natural Resource Solutions Scholarship in Laboratory and Field Work in Ecology award to acknowledge students demonstrating academic excellence in the area of fieldwork in ecology. This award is presented to the student with the highest grade in BIOL*3010.
The Ronald Ko Scholarship represents income generated by a trust fund established by Dr. Ko. One annual award is presented in the Winter semester. Application is not required.
This scholarship is awarded to the student with the highest grade in the Integrative Biology of Invertebrates course ZOO*3700 in the Department of Integrative Biology, currently offered in the Fall semester.
The Tony Anthony Prize in Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy was established in memory of the late E.H. Anthony, Professor in the former Department of Zoology, One award will be made for each semester in which the course is offered. Application is not required.
This award is presented to the student who achieves the highest grade in course ZOO*2090, Vertebrate Structure and Function.
The Farzom Rad Memorial Scholarship was established in 2017 in loving memory of Farzom Rad, a first-year Marine and Freshwater Biology major at the University of Guelph. Selection is based on the highest cumulative average. This award can only be held once and cannot be held at the same time with the Keith Ronald Undergraduate Scholarship (I4547). Application is not required.

This past holiday season saw an outpouring of support from the department for our 2nd annual silent and live auction. Dozens of items were donated by faculty, staff, and students ranging from beautiful handmade jewelry to wine tasting excursions; from cottage weekends in Algonquin to salsa lessons; from stunning artwork to book bundles. Not only were the donations extremely generous, but the bids displayed the true spirit of the season and the department.
