Centre for International Programs Hosts Study Abroad Fair

Every year the Centre for International Programs hosts the Study Abroad Fair to showcase the University of Guelph’s study abroad programs, which include six semesters abroad, summer field school programs and more than 100 exchange opportunities.   You will have the chance to meet students who have been on Guelph’s study abroad programs and students who are here on exchange from our partner universities.

Beer Basics

Join us for a fun beer tasting afternoon! This seminar will cover everything from the difference between ales and lagers, micro vs. macro, core and extra ingredients, the brewing process and its history, and how to snuff out a bad beer. We will cover the different beer styles, how and why they came about, and of course taste a couple examples. Everything you need to hold your own in a craft beer bar. Registration deadline is October 6th. Open to the public and offered by the School of Hospitality, Food & Tourism Management.

Research Event: Visiting Speaker Series ft. Perry Sadorsky, York University

The Visiting Speaker Series is an opportunity for invited researchers and professionals, external to the University of Guelph, to present their research topic(s) to faculty and students. On September 16, the Department of Economics and Finance will welcome Associate Professor, Perry Sadorsky,from York University who will be discussing his paper "Investor implications of divesting from fossil fuels". Anyone from the University of Guelph is welcome to attend.
