Nominations now open for 2018 CBE Alumni Awards

University of Guelph business and economics alumni are making a difference in workplaces and communities across Canada and around the world. In an effort to recognize these exceptional individuals, the College of Business and Economics is reaching out to alumni to nominate U of G business alumni for a Notable Alumni Award or the 10x10 Alumni with Impact Award.

These prestigious awards represent the highest level of recognition the College gives to its alumni, and nominations for the 2018 awards are now open.

The Notable Alumni Award recognizes alumni who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in their professional and personal lives, and are inspiring to fellow alumni and students.

Our recent notable alumni have held senior executive roles in some of today’s most successful companies and brands, revolutionized their chosen professions or industry, or started a successful entrepreneurial venture. Previous Notable Alumni award recipients include:

• Kim Parlee – VP, TD Wealth Management
• Sharon Macleod – VP Personal Care, North America, Unilever

The 10x10 Alumni with Impact Award recognizes 10 incredible alumni who are within 10 years of their graduation date and have achieved rapid and significant growth in their careers.

These alumni have garnered significant responsibility and influence within their respective industries and organizations, and are well on their way to reaching incredible heights and success in their career. Previous 10x10 award recipients include:
