Nov. 20: Conference Board of Canada and the University of Guelph's Food Institute release food safety rankings

Photo of Sylvain CharleboisA food safety report examining 17 developed countries was released today by the Conference Board of Canada and the Food Institute at the University of Guelph. Authored by marketing professor Sylvain Charlebois and Jean-Charles Le Vallée, the report looks at data in 10 areas including food-borne-illness rates, food recalls and dietary consumption studies. Canada tied with Ireland for first place, followed by France, Britain and the United States. Read more on the report in the Globe and Mail.
