Helen Oliver

Helen Oliver was born and raised in Guelph, Ontario.  She joined the Veterinary Services Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food at the Guelph Laboratory in January of 1977. In 1997, she joined the newly created Animal Health Laboratory with the University of Guelph.

Helen is currently the secretary-treasurer of the Omega Tau Sigma Fraternity House Inc. (OTS) and has been for over 40 years. She was awarded the Hooker Memorial Award in 1992 for her ongoing contribution to the fraternity house.

As the Executive Assistant to the Director of the Animal Health Lab, she supports in most of the organization’s activities from financial to social events.

She enjoys traveling, reading and gardening.
