Joanna Sawicki

Joanna Sawicki is currently the Technical Supervisor of the Virology section at the Animal Health Laboratory. 

She joined the division in 2005 as a lab assistant in the Virology section while completing her B.ScH at the University of Guelph.  Immediately after graduation she assumed the role of laboratory technician followed by Team Leader, a position she held for 5 years.  During this time, she earned an MBA in Agribusiness and is currently responsible for ensuring efficient operations in Virology while providing excellent client service.
