In The Gallery with Sofie LaChapelle "The Ghost in the Image"

Join us for a public talk - everyone is welcome. Sofie LaChapel le is a historian of science and author of Investigating the Supernatural: F rom Spiritism an Occultism to Psychical Research and Metapsychics in France , 1853-1931 (John Hopkins University Press, 2011). In her current work, sh e explores the world of nineteenth-century magicians and the relationships b etween science, magic and wonder during this period.

Strings At Noon presents the St. George Chamber Players

Free Noon Concert sponsored by the College of Biological Science and College of Arts. The St. George Chamber Players is a group of professional musicians brought together by their common love of the classical chamber mus ic repertoire.
