Thinking Spaces, “The Body as Knowledge Incubator: Creativity, Improvisation & Embodiment” is presented by Dr. Karamjeet Dhillon, RISE-R project manager at the Centre for School Mental Health at Western University and independent scholar, and takes place Monday, October 2 at 2pm ET. The talk includes a presentation followed by a guided Q&A and conversation period.

Meet the Profs! Fall Event

The Undergraduate History Society is running our annual Meet the Profs event next week! The event is on October 11th from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Lookout Lounge in the UC. We will have free food, dessert, and prizes to win throughout the event. Layers of Fabric: interpreting Scotland's medieval built heritage - Candice Bogdanski talk at Scottish Research Circle

We are delighted to share an upcoming lecture with you, presented by the Scottish Research Circle (SRC).  The SRC is a graduate-student led organization whose goal is to highlight a blend of senior and emerging scholars in a variety of topics related to the history of Scotland. The SRC invites you to their fall lecture “Layers of Fabric: interpreting Scotland's medieval built heritage” with Candice Bogdanski (Heritage Consultant, ERA Architects Inc.) on Wednesday 25 October 1:30-2:30pm in MacKinnon 111. Coffee and cookies will be provided.  

History Society Drop-In Social

DROP IN SOCIAL: The History Society is organizing a drop-in social event on Wednesday, October 25th, in room MCKN 313 from 4:30-6:30. If you have any questions about the History Society or history program, if you want the opportunity to meet other history students or if you have any questions for the executive team, we encourage you to come to this event! There will be free apple cider, hot chocolate, and cookies provided!  We look forward to seeing you there and to helping you answer any questions you may have!
