Learn more about the master’s and doctoral programs offered within the College of Biological Science!

Grad Preview Day will be held on Nov. 10 from 2 to 4:30 in the Summerlee Science Complex atrium and will include a presentation on graduate studies in CBS by the Office of the Associate Dean of Research, as well as tours of research labs and facilities, program-specific informational booths, research poster presentations from graduate students and free pizza!

  • 2 p.m.: Exploring Graduate Studies in the College of Biological Science, a presentation with Graham Holloway, Associate Dean of Research, and Sarah Bates, Manager of Research and Graduate Studies
  • 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.: Informational booths, tours of research facilities and research poster presentations

Grad Preview Day will highlight graduate programs within the college, as well as those offered in collaboration with other colleges, including: 

Master’s programs:

  • MSc Human Health and Nutritional Sciences (thesis)
  • MSc Integrative Biology (thesis)
  • MSc Molecular and Cellular Biology (thesis)
  • Master of Bioinformatics (thesis)
  • Master of Bioinformatics (course-based)
  • Master of Biotechnology (course-based)
  • Master of Wildlife Biology (course-based)

Doctoral programs:

  • PhD Human Health and Nutritional Sciences

  • PhD Bioinformatics

Thesis-based MSc and PhD programs in CBS also offer collaborative specializations in One Health, Neuroscience and Toxicology.
