To help students prepare for this year's 3MT competitions, we are hosting 2 interactive workshops facilitated by Jodie Salter (University of Guelph Library, Writing Specialist), Jason Dodd (University of Guelph Library, Science Learning Specialist) and Jessie Kennedy (Manager, John F. Wood Centre for Business and Student Enterprise)!
Workshop #1
The first workshop on February 14th, 2024 from 1:30-3:00pm will be virtual via Microsoft Teams. During the workshop, you will:
- hear more about the benefits of participating in the 3MT competition
- learn about the art and science of effective "pitches" and communicating to a general audience
- learn about the principles of good 3MT slide design
Workshop #2
The second workshop is on March 13th, 2024 1:30-3:00pm is hybrid in MCKN 019 and via Microsoft Teams. During this workshop, you will:
- bring your work-in-progress
- workshop your script and receive feedback from pitch experts
- get advice on your slide design
