We look forward to you joining us as we interactively:
1. Increase awareness of the value and importance of greater equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in CBS courses
2. Encourage discussions and explore the current state-of-affairs amongst peers and colleagues about experiences with equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in the classroom regarding both content and pedagogies
3. Support the development of priorities and strategies for incorporating equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in the classroom at the individual level
4. Identify resources and support needed to support achieving priorities and strategies to facilitate action for including equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in CBS courses
Cissy Ballen, associate professor of Biological Sciences at Auburn University, will be the keynote and will speak about equity in higher education.
