Grad Chats: Scholarship Applications

The CBS Grad Chats Series covers topics related to professional skills and graduate school in general. All CBS graduate students are welcome to attend!

The Scholarship Applications workshop will teach you how to identify scholarship opportunities and how to write a compelling research proposal, with a focus on the latter. We'll suggest a straightforward method to structure your scholarship proposal, provide you with concrete strategies and phrases you can use to articulate your ideas, and look at some examples from previous successful proposals. If you’re applying for scholarships this Fall or Winter (e.g., tri-agency, OGS) and you’re not sure how to write your proposal, this workshop is for you.
