HHS Seminar: An Unplanned Path into Industry: Leveraging Experiences from Graduate School

On Feb 27th from 12 to 1 p.m., HHS will be hosting a seminar by Dr. Chris Pignanelli from the Canadian Sport Institute. 

More about Dr. Pignanelli's work: As a recent graduate from the Department of Human Health Sciences at the University of Guelph, I’ll share my path from graduate training to my current role as Sport Lab and Research Lead at the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario. The talk will include examples of projects I’m currently involved in and highlight specific skills and experiences developed during graduate school. While I will draw on my own experiences, the opportunities discussed are available to both undergraduate and graduate students interested in non-academic careers.
