Date and Time
Location
FS128 & Zoom
Details
On April 13th 2026, HHS will be hosting a seminar by Dr. Lauro Vianna from the University of Brasilia
More about Dr. Vianna's work: Parkinson’s Disease is usually seen as a movement disorder, but it also affects the heart, blood pressure, and breathing. In this talk, I will show how these systems are altered in patients with Parkinson’s Disease. I will also present how these changes impact the body both at rest and during exercise. These findings suggest that Parkinson’s Disease affects much more than movement. Understanding this can help improve patient care and quality of life.
