About geXc
The Genomic Exchange Community geXc is a grassroots initiative with an intent to improve Genomics through collaboration and innovation, providing a forum for sharing, learning, and networking. Since 2011, GeXc events hosted at leading Canadian institutions have convened nearly 5,000 scientists around a shared belief: that open exchange between academia and industry accelerates discovery.

The geXc Guelph Symposium brings together leading researchers and industry innovators across three sessions spanning biodiversity genomics, aquatic ecosystems, and One Health. Whether you are new to genomics or a seasoned investigator, this full-day event at the University of Guelph is designed to inform, connect, and inspire. By blending academic and industry presentations with a fully catered event, including a trainee poster competition, wine & cheese social, industry panel discussions, and a career building workshop, geXc Guelph 2026 promises to be an engaging day filled with networking and learning.
