Welcome to CBS Information Technology Support

****PLEASE NOTE****

During the COVID-19 Pandemic CBS IT Support is providing information and resources on these pages with regards to working remotely, network drive mapping and links to software.

Microsoft has ended Windows 7 Support as of January 14, 2020.

If you have a Windows 7 computer you should either:

  1. Pull your computer off our networks and keep running Windows 7

  2. Replace your Windows 7 computer with one running a current operating system (e.g. Windows 10 or Mac OS 10.15)

  3. Upgrade your computer to Windows 10 Education (provided free by U of G).

  4. Pay for and install the Windows 7 Extended Security updates.

If you choose option #3 or option #4, please contact me (by sending an email to cbsit@uoguelph.ca) to discuss further details.
