To help students prepare a 3-minute research “pitch,” we are hosting two interactive workshops facilitated by Dr. Jodie Salter (University of Guelph Library, Writing Specialist), Jason Dodd (University of Guelph Library, Science Learning Specialist) and Jessie Kennedy (Manager, John F. Wood Centre for Business and Student Enterprise).
Both workshops will be held in-person (MINS 129) and online via TEAMS. More informaiton will be sent after you register.

Family-friendly STEAM-themed programming running throughout the weekend in a drop-in fashion. We have the lobby of the new performing arts space booked for the weekend and we’d love to have a variety of groups there to engage with community members with fun chats/activities as people come through. Great chance to boost your brand with families in the community! The new planetarium will be running shows in the new Improv Lab just off the lobby throughout the weekend.

IUPAC Global Women’s Breakfast is an amazing opportunity to celebrate what it means to be a woman in STEM.
This event aims to bring people together from all genders and all science disciplines to learn from each other, and to raise awareness of the challenges women scientists face in academic, industry and government institutions.
