Banner Future You starts at Lang

Today, Lang launched a new brand campaign to reinforce the School’s strength in developing responsible and career-ready leaders for the rapidly-changing world of business. The “Future You” campaign features the successes of recent Lang graduates in finding careers with impact and how the business school has helped them achieve life-long career success.

“The ’Future You’ campaign reflects the mission and purpose of Lang and tells the story of how our students and alumni are making an impact in their organizations and communities,” said dean of the Lang School of Business and Economics, Dr. Sara Mann. “This campaign tells a clear and compelling story to prospective students; that Lang is laser-focused on providing career-focused experiences while inspiring the next generation to use business as a force for good.”

The centerpiece of the campaign will focus on Lang’s new integrated student experience program, the “Future You Advantage.” The program will include transformational student learning experiences, both inside and outside the classroom, to support their leadership training and future-focused skill development and job preparedness.

“To transform students into responsible business leaders, we have developed a comprehensive support system for students,” says associate dean of strategic partnerships Dr. Gregory Bauer. “Lang’s Business Career Development Centre, program counselling team, and mentorship opportunities are just some of the ways we help develop students in the future-focused business leaders.”

The “Future You Advantage” features three connected pillars:

  • Global Leadership: Lang’s strength in responsible business and leadership development inspires students to think and act in a globally-connected manner. Students may also add international exchanges to their academic experience.
  • Expert Skill Development: Students develop industry-focused expertise, with real-world applications, from Lang’s supportive faculty. This includes a strong emphasis on analytics, ethics and collaboration to become a skilled and inclusive leader.
  • Career-Ready: Career-focused experiences and professional development support enhances student career-readiness and prepares them to take on the world.

The “Future You” campaign will focus on telling the success stories of recent Lang graduates of the School's Bachelor of Commerce, graduate and executive programs and will roll out on social media and the Lang website over the coming months. Students and alumni will be encouraged to share their own “Future You” stories, describing how they gained the experience, expertise and leadership abilities from the Lang School by engaging with Lang on social media.
