Saturday August 31st, 2019 is UofG Student Move-in Day

Please be aware that on Friday August 30st, 2019 and Saturday August 31st, 2019 between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. over 4,700 students will move-in to the student residences on campus.  As such there will be higher than normal traffic volume and road closures in the immediate University of Guelph area.  As the following University-owned roads will be impassable,  please regard them as closed with the exception of move-in related traffic: McGilvray Road, South Ring Road, East Ring Road and Dundas Lane.

The Animal Health Laboratory and the Large Animal Hospital, both of which receive clients and couriers off McGilvray Street, are open for business on Saturdays, including August 31, and  will have staff and client traffic using Dundas Lane, Smith Lane, and McGilvray Road. The Animal Health Laboratory will be open on these days and operating with its normal hours and staffing levels.  AHL clients arriving to campus should clearly state their purpose of attending the Animal Health Lab so they can be directed accordingly by Student Housing Volunteers.
