Ship samples in a leakproof tube. Overnight shipping is recommended.Collection Protocol
Aseptically collect fluid. Transfer CSF into leakproof containers. Use plain red-top or plastic collection containers. Deliver to the laboratory immediately. If the sample cannot be sent immediately, split the sample evenly into two tubes, with one neat sample and one with an equal volume of added autologous serum (to preserve cell morphology). Label tubes appropriately. Do not ship with formalin-fixed tissues.Additional Information
