Swab the environmental surface(s) requiring testing. Place sponges, swiffers, etc. into a leakproof sterile container. Place swabs into bacterial transport medium. Refrigerate immediately.Additional Information
Testing for the presence of E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella spp., and Clostridium perfringens. Susceptibility testing is not routinely done.
