Direct, air-dried, unfixed, unstained, labelled smears.

Shipping Information

Place slides into rigid slide holders to prevent breakage. Do not package with formalin fixed tissue or freezer packs.

Collection Protocol

Label each slide individually with the site sampled. Labelling the slide holders is not sufficient. A maximum of 10 slides is accepted for each cytology order (additional smears will incur additional charges).

Additional Information

Includes an interpretation of additional smears (10 slides max.) from a previous submission. Resubmission must be within 2 wk of the original submission. The previous submission number must be quoted.
