Place live fish in plastic bags filled with oxygen and ship in a cooler with ice packs; ship fresh dead fish or tissues on ice packs.

Additional Information

The best tissues to collect for virus detection are, in order of preference, mucus from the left lateral line and the base of the left pectoral and pelvic fins, or fin clips from either pectoral fin.
