Mycotoxins, aflatoxin, deoxynivalenol (DON), fumonisin, ochratoxin, T2/HT2 & zearalenone - ELISA
Days test started:
Specimen Type/Volume50-200 g of grain, feed or forage.
Shipping InformationPaper bag or cardboard container and store under cool (2-8C), dry conditions that will not promote fungal growth and continued production of mycotoxins.
Collection ProtocolProper sampling is essential because the contamination may occur only in pockets (hot spots) in the feed mass. It is recommended that a larger sample is taken (1-5 kg), mixed and representatively subsampled (100-200 g) for submission to the lab for analysis.
Results are total aflatoxin, deoxynivalenol (DON), total fumonisin, total ochratoxin, T2/HT2 & zearalenone. All ELISAs can be performed using one 100 g sample. For technical assistance with immunochemistry's mycotoxin ELISA testing, contact Christine Blaser ex: 57528.
