Dr. Rashid Khalidi Virtual Talk: "The Hundred Years' War on Palestine"

Dr. Rashid I. Khalidi, Edward Said Professor of Modern Arab Studies, Department of History, Columbia University, NY will give an online zoom guest lecture regarding his new book, The Hundred Years' War on Palestine: A History of Settler Colonialism and Resistance, 1917-2017 (2020), and the current situation in Palestine.

Fiona Edmonds at Scottish Studies 2021 Frank Watson Lecture

The Centre for Scottish Studies is pleased to share with you details for the Frank Watson Book Prize 2021 - Virtual Lecture, Thursday 3 November, 3:00-4:00pm (EDT).  Professor Fiona Edmonds will give a lecture that draws on the highlights of her book Gaelic Influence in the Northumbrian Kingdom: The Golden Age and the Viking Age, Studies in Celtic History 40 (Boydell and Brewer, 2019). 

Alex Souchen @ Canadian War Museum virtual talk

Dr. Alex Souchen, Assistant Professor, History of Science in the Department of History & BAS Program will take part in a webcast and roundtable discussion on the state of Canadian military history. Hosted by the Canadian War Museum, the event celebrates the 20th anniversary of UBC Press’s military history series (and the 60 books it’s published over that time).
