Meet the Profs!!

Hello everyone! Happy October!  A friendly reminder that one of the History Society’s biggest events is coming up on October 16th. Meet the Profs!  There will be free food, chances to win prizes, a Prof Scavenger Hunt, and lots of opportunities to talk to professors and fellow students. This is a great event to connect with faculty and students with a love of history, just like yourself! This event is for anyone who has an interest in history and wants to further their education by making meaningful connections.

Please join us on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 3:30pm EST for the book launch by Rebecca Beausaert, Visiting Assistant Professor of History, University of Guelph:  "'Tea Meetings, Concerts, and Other Things Too Numerous to Mention': Women's Leisure in Small Town Ontario, 1874-1914." The Scottish Research Circle is a graduate-student led organization whose goal is to highlight a blend of senior and emerging scholars in a variety of topics related to the history of Scotland.
