Fabio Faria Mendes: “Patrons, Kins, and Neighbours: Godparentage and Social Networks in Nineteenth-century Minas Gerais, Brazil." Fabio is Associate Professor of Federal University of Viçosa, Brazil, and Visiting Researcher in the Department of History at University of Guelph. His research focuses on family history and historical demography in 19th century Brazil and Canada.
