On Wednesday, March 20, the Department of History and Tourism History Working Group presents Joseph De Sapio: "Collision or Collusion? The Prince of Wales, Technology and Spectacle in India, 1875-1876.
Dr. De Sapio is a Sessional Instructor in the Department of History. He is currently researching the role of nineteenth-century tourism to London and throughout the British Empire. His focus is on the relationship between travel and constructed images of places and societies.
The talk takes place in MacKinnon 2020 from 1:00 to 2:30pm. All welcome!!
