Scottish Friendships: Martin Greig at Scottish Studies Roundtable

Please join us for a Scottish Studies Roundtable with Dr. Martin Greig from Ryerson University. Dr. Greig's paper, ""With a Little Help from My Friends: the role of friendship in Gilbert Burnet's Scottish career" will examine the Scottish theologian and Bishop of Salisbury's early career, paying particular attention to the crucial role friendship played in Burnet's early career in Scotland, how Burnet perceived those friendships, and, where possible, how others perceived their friendships with him.
