Dr. Susannah Ferreira winner of UGFA Distinguished Professor Award for Innovation in Teaching in the College of Arts
Dr. Susannah Ferreira has just been announced winner of UGFA Distinguished Professor Award for Innovation in Teaching in the College of Arts. Dr. Ferreira is especially known for her work with our students in specialized archival courses employing medieval manuscripts in the Library's Special Collections. Along with Melissa McAfee, these efforts have resulted in the exhibition Illuminating Life: Manuscript Pages of the Middle Ages, curated by University of Guelph students.

Catherine Carstairs winner of CHA article prize for "Oral Health Care and Indigenous Peoples in Canada"
We are proud to announce that Dr. Catherine Carstairs and co-author at Ryerson University, Dr. Ian Mosby, have won the Canadian Historical Review’s Best Article Prize for their 2020 article “Colonial Extractions: Oral Health Care and Indigenous Peoples in Canada, 1945-79.” Congratulations from all of us!
