The Boarding House Gallery is a new public art gallery and artistic partnership between the University of Guelph's School of Fine Art and Music (SOFAM) and the Art Gallery of Guelph (AGG), whose shared mandate is to present contemporary art exhibitions in a space which is open to the public free of cost.

Boarding House Gallery is generously supported by the School of Fine Art and Music through the University of Guelph's College of Arts through the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council.

The University of Guelph resides on the land of the Between the Lakes Treaty No. 3, the territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit. This land is part of the Dish with One Spoon, a covenant between Indigenous nations to live peaceably on the territories of the Great Lakes region. We recognize that today this gathering place is home to many First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples and acknowledging them reminds us of our collective responsibility to the land where we learn, live and work.
