Throughout February, Wellness@Work is hosting a series of Lunch n’ Learn screening events for faculty and staff.  As February is “Heart Month”, we encourage you to come out and learn more about how you can keep your heart and mind healthy.

On Thursday February 15th, bring your lunch and come out for a Wellness@Work screening of “The Happy Secret to Better Work.”

Description: We believe we should work hard in order to be happy, but could we be thinking about things backwards? In this fast-moving and very funny talk, psychologist Shawn Achor argues that, actually, happiness inspires us to be more productive.  There are ways that you can train your brain to be able to become more positive. In just a two-minute span of time done for 21 days in a row, you can actually rewire your brain, allowing your brain to actually work more optimistically and more successfully.  Come out to learn Shawn’s secrets for a happier, healthier life.

Snacks will be provided, but we encourage you to bring your lunch!

Unable to join us at the University Centre over lunch?  Check out the video that will be screened here: https://www.ted.com/talks/shawn_achor_the_happy_secret_to_better_work
