Throughout February, Wellness@Work is hosting a series of Lunch n’ Learn screening events for faculty and staff.  As February is “Heart Month”, we encourage you to come out and learn more about how you can keep your heart and mind healthy.  

On February 8th, bring your lunch and come out for a Wellness@Work screening of “How to Make Stress your Friend.”  

Description: Stress. It makes your heart pound, your breathing quicken and your forehead sweat. But while stress has been made into a public health enemy, new research suggests that stress may only be bad for you if you believe that to be the case. Psychologist Kelly McGonigal urges us to see stress as a positive, and introduces us to an unsung mechanism for stress reduction: reaching out to others.

Snacks will be provided, but we encourage you to bring your lunch!
